WOMEN OF THE EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH IN AMERICA
WELCA – a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ and empowered by The Holy Spirit. We commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings; engage in ministry and action; and promote healing and wholeness in the church, society and the world. Holy Trinity has 3 WELCA groups. Mary Meynardie Circle meets the first Tuesday EVENING at 7:30 in Trinity Life Center. Cooper-Fuller Circle meets the second Tuesday MORNING at 10AM in large Conference Room. WELCA’s newest group, Circle of Friends in Christ, organized on October 9, 2007, is composed of younger wives and mothers who meet as able. ALL ladies of the congregation are invited to join any one of these three groups at any time. Watch Sunday Bulletins for announcements of meeting plans
