Committees

 

AUDIT COMMITTEE – Is responsible for reviewing financial records for all accounts on an Annual basis and the General Fund on a semi-annual basis.

ALTAR AND PARAMENT COMMITTEE
- is responsible for the care of the worship space to see that it is kept beautiful and in good order, both to glorify God and to provide a seting that helps enable the congregation to worship in a meaningful way.

CEMETERY COMMITTEE
– is responsible for maintenance and administration of the cemetery.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION COMMITTEE – oversee the conduct and promotion of he schools and the activities of all teacingg organizations withing the congregation.

CHURCH BUS COMMITTEE
– is responsible for the upkeep of the bus.

CHURCH GROUNDS AND PROPERTY COMMITTEE – is responsible for the upkeep and improvement of the church grounds and the proper maintenance and protection of all property of the congregation.

ELECTIONS COMMITTEE – is responsible for conduct of elections including the distribution and counting of ballots and reporting results.

EVANGELISM COMMITTEE – shall inspire and lead all members of the congregation in continous and, from time to time, concerted endeavors to reawaken the spiritually indifferent and to reach others, who are as yet unwon, with the Gospel and welcome them into Christ’s Church.

FELLOWSHIP HALL COMMITTEE – is responsible for the maintenance of the kitchen and supplies.

MUTUAL MINISTRY COMMITTEE – is mission-oriented and rooted in the beliefs and understanding that we are mutually bound to one another in our baptism and that all baptized members are called to be in ministry both in the church and in the world.  The committee assists the Council in annually assessing working conditions and relationships, staff compensation and benefits, and makes recommendations as appropriate.

SOCIAL MINISTRY COMMITTEE – the purpose of this committe shall be to extend Christian compassions and helpfulness to the ill, the aged, the orphanaed, the underprivileged, the imprisoned and, in general, to persons of all ages in need of aid in body or soul.

STEWARDSHIP/FINANCE COMMITTEE – it shall also be the function of this committee to evoke and promote the expression of Christian faith in daily living; to teach the Christian use of money; to diffuse knowledge of the congregation’s higher levels of proportionate giving for the Lord’s work.
